2024-2025 scholarship application period: December 16, 2024 – January 24, 2025.
During this time, students will have the opportunity to apply for scholarships through Incourage’s online application process. DO NOT try to begin a new application outside of these dates, as the applications WILL NOT be available.

On or after December 16, 2024, you may begin your application for 2024-2025.

Information You Should Know

  • Most scholarships are for residents of the south Wood County area: Nekoosa, Pittsville, Port Edwards, Rome, Rudolph, Vesper, Wisconsin Rapids, and surrounding communities.
  • For ease of applying, we utilize a common online application form. Applicants are considered for all eligible scholarships based on the information provided.
  • View the 2025 Scholarship Catalog for descriptions of Incourage Community Foundation scholarships.
  • Local high school recipients will be notified at their school’s award program in May. Other high school seniors, continuing college students, and non-traditional recipients will be notified via mail. Additionally, all applicants will receive email notification from ISTS, scholarship administrator, late-May. Recipients will be provided with next steps and due dates in their award letter; additional details are also provided by ISTS in their email notification.

Application Tips:

  • Use a personal email address, not a school email address, when creating the online scholarship account.
  • Application needs to be completed by the student, not someone else on their behalf.
  • If a student has questions or needs technical assistance during the application process, they should contact ISTS Customer Care; click the ‘Need Help?‘ tab above for their contact information.
  • Read all the instructions and questions carefully.
  • The application may be saved to be completed later up until the time the application is submitted.
  • Start your application early. A thoughtful and thorough application takes time.
  • Plan extra time to complete your essay(s) and upload your transcript. Please note: FAFSA may also be required for the Elda Bark Scholarship (LHS only) and Sunrise Rotary Mentor Award (AHS, JEHS, LHS, NHS).
  • Late applications will not be accepted.
